CAAB starts 2023 with a new Erasmus+ project: CHARE! – Challenge Hate: Act, Report and Engage! This project aims to bring together young people of Europe to discuss and act, creating content to fight against Hate Speech.
CHARE! was created by associations from Hungary, Portugal, Spain and Ukraine that agreed that it is urgent to talk about hate speech with young people and act against it both online and offline. In fact hate speech is growing rampantly online as it is such an extent space that it is hard to implement rules. Consequently there’s an uncontrolable growth of content and fake news that tries to justify hate and discrimination.
CHARE! is starting on the 1st of January and will end on the 31st of July. It will directly involve a facilitator, 40 young people and 8 group leaders from these 4 countries in an intervention that aims to promote a healthier and more active online presence. CHARE! Fighting Hate Speech in a few days!
