CAAB participates in a new IPDJ program and is committed to contributing to the Digital Learning in the Aguada de Baixo community through youth volunteering.
The new program is called «Gerações em Rede and aims to «reduce the digital exclusion of the adult population residing in Portugal, contributing to social inclusion and reducing the social isolation of this population.». Through the work of young volunteers, the aim is to reach an adult population that is more distant from new technologies and welcome them into the digital age. The CAAB decided to make its contribution and promote 42 training sessions with the support of a volunteer and the always fruitful cooperation of Paraíso Social de Aguada de Baixo. The training will begin on July 17, at the CAAB headquarters and at Paraíso Social in Aguada de Baixo.
This cooperation only reinforces the great partnership between these two institutions in Aguada de Baixo, in favor of Dialogue and Intergenerational Learning. In fact, in the past, they developed the «Gente da Minha Terra» – also with the support of the IPDJ – which promoted the appreciation of the oral heritage of the land. know more here.
