As part of the IPDJ’s “Namorar com Fair Play” program, CAAB will receive 3 volunteers to organize activities and create an artistic installation on gender stereotypes. The project in question is called «Dotting the I’s» and from now on we will be addressing Gender Stereotyping!
During the volunteering period, they will develop group dynamics with our associates to promote reflection on the topic. Later, by interviewing 15 young people, they will discover what young people think about male and female gender stereotypes, with the aim of creating an artistic installation in our parish.
What about the volunteers? What do they take away from this experience? This project aims to enable them to develop essential skills for active life: spirit of initiative, responsibility, civic awareness, time management, etc. To optimize this growth, volunteers will be accompanied by a youth worker who will help them reflect on their own learning and on different strategies to overcome obstacles.
