Portuguese participants talk with no reservation about their experience of participating in the CLARO! mobility. Talking Honestly with Tugas, a video series of 5 thematic episodes is all about that: talking «no strings attached» about discrimination, the mobility and all in-betweens, from the point of view of 10 «tugas».
Have your personal goals been met? What difficulties did you feel? What reflections do you share about discrimination? What learnings do you recognize? What advice would you give to young people going on a first exchange? These were some of the questions that set the tone for honest conversations.
CLARO! is a project that officially ends in the end of February but it is just the beginning of a journey towards the recognition of stereotypes and concrete actions to combat the discrimination that exists in our daily lives. Honest Conversations with the Tugas shows just that: the impact of the project remained with the participants, long after the exchange itself had ended.
CLARO! Challenge Labels and Appearance…Reach Out! is a project supported by Erasmus+ and IPDJ. It involved young people and youth workers from Portugal, the Czech Republic, Greece and Turkey around the topic of invisible discrimination and microaggressions. Want to know more about the project?
