Make the invisible visible
This project, "Challenge Labels and Appearance...Reach Out!"brings together 40 young people and 26 youth workers from Greece, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Turkey in a joint empowering action to assume themselves as actors of change, in the fight against invisible discrimination and in the promotion of inclusion.
CLARO! arises from 3 identified problems:
1) Minorities have an inferior and weakened space in social dialogue;
2) Invisible discrimination and microaggression are not recognized as toxic behaviors;
3) Lack of youth participation in social issues;
LEARN BY DOING
To tackle these issues, partner organizations defined the following action:
1º MOBILITY ACTIVITY:
Training Course for Youth Workers and Volunteers:
26 participants over the age of 18 were given joint European training on invisible discrimination, hate speech, micro-aggression and non-formal education. After approaching the concepts and considering their target audiences, they designed 4 methods based on non-formal education to be tested in their local contexts.

2º MOBILITY ACTIVITY:
Advance Planning Visit:
A youth worker and a young person from each organization participate in a face-to-face meeting to finalize the details of the exchange and carry out a partial evaluation of the project.
A Continuous Process
LOCAL ACTIVITY:
The methods created in the Training Course are tested and optimized with young people in each of the communities involved.
3º MOBILITY ACTIVITY:
Youth Exchange:
40 young people and 8 youth workers gather for a week and through activities prepared by each group they promote youth participation and the responsibility of all of us in combating discriminatory behavior.

LOCAL ACTIVITY:
In each of the communities, the group of young people prepares, implements and evaluates an activity open to the community in order to raise awareness of the topic.

Learning and content
Project results can be divided into tangible (content) and intangible (learning and impact on all elements involved).

Structured knowledge about project concepts;
Youth Workers capable of designing activities based on non-formal education to address social issues;
Greater empathy towards other people and life experiences;
Willingness to rise up against invisible discrimination;
Young people more participative in social issues;

Booklet with methods based on non-formal education that were created, tested and optimized in the 4 communities, with young people;
